The term “Event Photography” covers a wide range of possibilities. In my own working experience it has included graduation exercises, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, lectures, seminars, symposia, live music, grand openings, celebrations and fundraisers. All of these events include people as a necessary element. The people make the event and that is what I strive to depict in my photos. I look for spontaneous personal interactions. While I love a good candid photo, I will pose people when it’s called for.
